My goals for this week were to work on character design and creating full character bodies.
I successfully created a body for both of the main characters, Willie and Bucky. I found though this process that it took a lot of testing when it came to shapes and appearance. I already had a particular look and feel for the faces, and I wanted to make sure the bodies matched to create full figure characters.
I'm hoping with some feedback from my partner, Alexandra, and some feedback from our upcoming user testing that I can create our official character looks. I'm also hoping to work on additional poses within the next week.
What I learned from this process is the importance of using image sources. I took to Google and found that it was extremely helpful looking at references for animal body types.
